It took our relationship to a whole new level in the feelings.

We love shooting couples because it's a privilege to see and experience for a short time the amazing connection of a couple in love.

These guys came all the way from the top end of Australia to have a couple shoot. But read on...

Why did you decide to do a boudoir session?

We never really got the chance to do one on one wedding photos and wanted to do something sexy and show our love for each other. To make us feel incredible about ourselves.

What made you decide to hire our studio for your photo shoot?

We loved the amazing photos that you do. Then I realised you did couples and it was something special for us to do while we were in Sydney

How were you feeling before your shoot? Any thoughts going through your head?

We were really nervous and had no idea what to expect or what to do.

Now that you've had your own photo shoot, how was it?

It was the best feeling and made us feel incredible. It boosted our confidence. The connection we felt during the photo shoot was comfortable, sexy and intimate. It took our relationship to a whole new level in the feelings.

What would you say to someone considering doing a boudoir shoot?

Definitely do it. 100%

Sexy couple photos

Is there anything we could do to make this experience completely perfect?

No it was perfect all round

Sexy couple photo shoot

Looking at the photos I can't believe it is me!

Why did you decide to do a boudoir session?

First wedding anniversary present for the husband (bonus because it was for me too!)

What made you decide to hire our studio for your photoshoot?

Easy to use website. Photos on the website were amazing. Chris and Kate replied to my emails quickly and with options. Prices were reasonable. Well publicised.

How were you feeling before your shoot? Any thoughts going through your head?

The morning of I felt both excited and nervous. Once I had my makeup and hair done I felt amazing (even beautiful). I had never done anything like this before so I didn't really know what to expect or what I was getting myself in to.

Now that you've had your own photo shoot, how was it?

Chris was amazing to work with (despite me initially thinking it was going to be awkward with a male shooting; he was super professional and I felt very comfortable). Looking at the photos I can't believe it is me! I look hot and I am so excited to get my products.

What would you say to someone considering doing a boudoir shoot?

DO IT! There is nothing bad that can come out of you doing one; you will only feel better about yourself.

Is there anything we could do to make this experience completely perfect?

Nothing I can think of at this stage. I am just so excited to get my products!

Now this is unusual...

... unusual because I am usually behind the camera not in front of it.

Earlier this year I was honoured to be asked by the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) to present 2 workshops on boudoir photography and posing. The event, the Hair of the Dog 2017 was held in Queensland and attended by our colleagues and friends in the industry.

It's always a bit daunting presenting in front of Australia's best photographers. I was shooting live with a model and my camera was hooked up to a projection screen.

Here are some images of the workshop, with me trying my best not to look too ridiculous while explaining the poses to the model and the audience :)

Why did you decide to do a boudoir session?

After a photoshoot we always send out a questionnaire now to find out a bit more about how everything went. Here are some of the recent responses. One question we ask is...

Why did you decide to do a boudoir session?

It was coming up to my ten year anniversary, partner's birthday, our wedding, I've been attending the gym regularly for the last six months and it's something I've always wanted to do in my "middle age" for posterity.

Why did you decide to do a boudoir session?

I wanted to use it as a first anniversary gift for my husband.

Why did you decide to do a boudoir session?

With my wedding rapidly approaching, I decided to book in for a boudoir session as extra motivation to get into shape and look my absolute best for my big day. I have always admired women who had the confidence to do a boudoir session, to appreciate and celebrate their femininity and sexuality.

Do you provide hair and makeup service?

This is a question we get asked all the time. Yes we do. Professional hair and makeup is actually already included in the session fee.

We have an amazing team of hair and makeup artists who will look after you. You just let them know what kind of style you are after, maybe you prefer natural and sexy or maybe you prefer a more sexy dramatic makeup.

A quick tip from our makeup artist:

To ensure you look your very best for your photoshoot please arrive with a clean face (no makeup), clean dry hair and tidy eyebrows.

If you have any areas of concern that you need covered up just let our makeup artists know.

We strongly encourage to always having both done by professionals - it really makes a difference in the final images.

Sexy couple boudoir shoot - Sydney couples

R & H are both in the navy and while they are lucky enough to be on the same ship it's obviously not the easiest way to have a relationship.

That's when a sexy couple shoot becomes so important to celebrate your relationship and create a lasting momento. Plus with the album they purchased R & H also received their phone app so they can always discretely view their images :)
