Thrilling, amazing, wonderful, enlightening, an experience like no other - Australia Boudoir

Why did you decide to do a boudoir session?

Mikes idea to help build my confidence and self esteem which has always been lacking. The few friends I have told in advance all praised me and said they wished they had the nerve to do it. That felt good.

What made you decide to hire our studio for your photoshoot?

Mike looked at several possible studios online but decided on your studio due to the blogs, the quality of your website and a ‘good vibe’ from everything he read about you and your studio

How were you feeling before your shoot? Any thoughts going through your head?

Mike was fine :) but I was nervous, very nervous. I like nothing about my body and at 56 years of age, I knew things were not going to get any better. I wanted to do the shoot for myself and for Mike who often complements the way I look, the way I dress and buys lingerie for me. He is also a keen amateur photographer and we both wanted to know what professionals could do with me and my looks. I even shed a few tears with nerves before saying goodbye to Mike and getting started, such was the torment going on inside me.

Now that you've had your own photo shoot, how was it?

Thrilling, amazing, wonderful, enlightening, an experience like no other and we were both stunned by the images at the end. Mike said he knew they’d be good, but even he was blown away on the utter transformation that had happened to me in front of the camera.

 The entire team were wonderful in calming my fears, focussing my attention, coaching me, and were so patient. The whole experience was a delight.

Our children could not believe what I had done when I revealed what we’d been secretly doing all day.

What would you say to someone considering doing a boudoir shoot?

Do it. Don’t think about it, just do it. You will not regret it one bit whether it is for yourself, for a partner or friend...just sign up! There is nothing to loose and everything to gain in having Chris capture some wonderful images in a lovely studio.

Is there anything we could do to make this experience completely perfect?

Nothing really. It was a long day for us, but that was due to travelling from north west NSW and not the studio session.  The experience was a perfect balance of makeup and hair followed by the session, with a break then review the images. I was exhausted but the experience was life changing. Thank you so much.
